Crew California

Empowerment through choice and independence

We believe that all people with intellectual and developmental disabilities are defined by their own strengths, abilities and inherent value, not by their disability.

Our Mission

Crew California promotes and protects the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and actively supports their full inclusion and participation in the community throughout their lifetimes.

People First

That all people with intellectual and developmental disabilities are defined by their own strengths, abilities and inherent value, not by their disability.

Diversity

We believe that society in general and The Arc in particular benefit from the contributions of individuals with diverse characteristics, including race, ethnicity, religion, age, geographic location, sexual orientation, gender and type of disability.

Community

That people with intellectual and developmental disabilities are entitled to the respect, dignity, equality, safety, and security accorded to other members of society, and are equal before the law.

What is Self- Determination?

Self-Determination Program participants receive one-time funding from Regional Center for PCP development and the transition into the SDP program. Participants do not pay for these services directly.

SDP provides individuals and their families with more freedom, control, and responsibility in choosing services and supports to help them meet objectives

We believe that collaboration is the key to success.
